Enjoy an afternoon of:

• Fast-paced, hands-on workshops for students in Grades PreK-8
• Informative keynote and workshops for parents and educators
• Exhibit area featuring programs, camps, games and more

Educators, parents, and caregivers are invited to learn to see the outdoors as a multidisciplinary resource that encourages children to discover the natural world. Steep Rock’s Executive Director, Lori Paradis Brant will discuss fostering the relationship children have with nature and how that acts as an important foundation for learning in later years. Discover simple activities to tap into your child’s innate curiosity and wonder. Discuss ways to foster a positive learning environment in which your child can develop their relationship with the outdoors – and you – at the same time. Launch the children in your life on a life-long journey as stewards of our special outdoor places and hear about fun family outings that are developmentally appropriate, authentic, and address the growth of the whole child.
