Thank You BFS Community

Barrels & Bites was a wonderful success! Thank you to all of you who supported this event in the large and small ways you were able to contribute.

To our indefatigable chairwomen, Liz Kearney and Melissa Lindsey, not enough can be said to describe how much work and thoughtfulness you put into making the fundraiser fun and a money raiser! To Jess Granger, PTO co-president, for making the transition from the original site to Apple Lane Park look, well, like a walk in the park. To Jen Benner, our webmaster, for design of the logo and the media outreach/publicity. To Mike and Tracy Palumbo, fabulous Lucky Dog hotdogs. To Nicole and Brandt McCauley, there can never be enough of your chocolate chip cookies. Melissa Lindsey gets kudos too for her cupcakes! Thank you to the many strong men who lent their brawn in raising the tent and moving tables, especially Elmer Lindsey, Sparky Lowe for the band’s stage, local business owners and farmers and artisans for your generous donations, Town Hall & Public Works, Rec Commission, BFS staff, PTO officers and dedicated volunteers.

When the community comes together, we can really throw a party! Oh, and a quick shout out to the band Union Rail, Marco and Tom of The Mobile Pub and to Root Out Whiskey!
